Excitement and nerves are mounting for three Tamworth workers who will find out on Friday if they're the best in the business.
Vying to take out the title of Employer of Choice is Shonelle Gleeson-Willey from Moss Environmental.
The top boss from the sustainable and ecological focused business is hoping her proactive philosophy to staff retention and training will see her take out the award.
Ms Gleeson-Willey encourages her staff to regularly express how they're going in a non-judgmental space to take the taboo away from talking about emotional, mental and physical health.

"I've put a lot of effort into making sure Moss is a great place to work over the years," she said.
Her staff-comes-first approach shines through in her implementation of flexible work arrangements, child care facilities, and regular coffee runs to check-in.
After taking out Trainee of the Year in last year's New England North West awards, goal-oriented and problem solving Mikala Ellis from the online birth and parenting education start-up Birth Beat, is in the running to be crowned NSW's most Outstanding Employee.
After joining the team fresh out of high school, and with no prior experience, in just two years Ms Ellis has been promoted to Communications Manager and has single handedly led the redesign of the company's website to increase traffic and enhance the user experience.
"I feel that all of my achievements as an employee are being recognised," she said.
"I've helped implement a lot of new strategies and I feel like I've come up with a lot of new ideas about how to improve the customer experience."
The Excellence in Export accolade could be on the cards for Tamworth-based horse nutrition business FeedXL for their sales in the United States, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Co-founder Dr Nerida Richards said the company had been focused on expanding their export market for the last decade.
The current goal is to gain more traction in the United States horse market, which Dr Richards described as fragmented and difficult to navigate.
But she said this nomination came as recognition for their hard work.
"It's really saying to us that you guys are doing something right in the export market."
The New England North West Region is well represented in Friday's awards with organisations and employees from Gunnedah, Quirindi, Uralla, Armidale and Walcha all sitting tight with their fingers crossed.
Gunnedah podiatrist Penny Crawford from Crawford Boots is in the running for Outstanding Business Leader for her role in creating award-winning, waterproof safety boots that deliver superior comfort and safety.
Gunnedah will also be represented by family owned and operated company Mannion Drilling in the Excellence in Large Business category, and by Glenn Many who is up for Outstanding Young Business Leader for his tenacity and drive in the success and growth of Many Fabrication & Engineering.
All of Quirindi will be behind the Rotary Club who are in the running to be crowned NSW's most Outstanding Community Organisation for making Quirindi a better place to live over the past 75 years.
The Excellence in Small Business category will feature Armidale based company Pinnacle People Solutions who work with regional organisations to help them retain staff and improve productivity.
Walcha's PharmOnline will battle it out in the Outstanding Start-up section as the first pharmacy-led telehealth service in Australia that focuses on helping rural people access health professionals.
Among the line-up in the Excellence in Innovation category you'll find Uralla's Meralli Solar who have made it their mission to sustainably and cost-effectively change the energy landscape across regional Australia.
