Police have seized a huge cannabis crop with a street value of $25 million west of Brisbane.
Detectives found more than 10,000 plants, grow houses and hydroponic systems when they raided a rural property at Churchable, halfway between Brisbane and Toowoomba, on Thursday.
The raid was part of an ongoing operation targeting the production, distribution and trafficking of cannabis in the Darling Downs region.
Four men have been charged with producing dangerous drugs and possessing property used in the commission of a crime.
Detective Senior Sergeant Tony Parsons said the operation was one of the largest the drug squad had ever dismantled.
"It showcases what lengths organised crime is prepared to go to make a lot of money, which will often be used to fund further criminal activity," he said on Friday.
