With Gunnedah going back into lockdown the weekend before (the 9th and 10th) they were rescheduled again to this weekend.
But in a post on it's Facebook page, the Gunnedah Tennis Club said after receiving "fresh advice" from the state government, they decided that the championships are "best postponed".
The club advised that a new date will be advertised "once restrictions have loosened".
The Wednesday evening Instacomp is though able to still go ahead, although spots are limited to 20. All players must also be double vaccinated.
Despite the postponement of the club championships, things are starting to hit off again with the North West Champion of Champions Tamworth invitational scheduled to be played on November 14, with the Inverell invitational the following weekend.
Registrations are also open for the North West Championships, which will be held at Gunnedah on December 4 and 5.
