Reigning club champion Mick Bradfield has started off in good form, blowing the fleet away in Sunday's club championship series opener.

After sailing to an early lead, the Breeza sailor was never headed, although his lead was reduced occasionally as the rest of the field vied for the other placings.
The course was set on a full three triangles with a windward return leg, the wind a quite gutsy south-easter varying in strength from an estimated 5km/h to 35km/h.
The action on the water will heat up another level this Sunday with the first heat of the annual Head Of The River.
