The Gunnedah trainer's two wins at the Riverside Racecourse on Saturday took his tally to four wins from his past 10 runs.
The highlight of his day to savour at Gunnedah was Danspur's slashing victory in the final race of the day, the Kamilaroi Open Trophy Handicap (1600m).

Ridden by Brent Evans, the eight-year-old gelding made it back-to-back wins by beating the Connie Greig-trained New Zealander Equilibrium (William Stanley) by almost 12 lengths.
The Brett Robb-trained Lucienne (Maddison Wright) was more than 13 lengths away in third place.
The eight-year-old gelding beat the Clint Lundholm-trained Bellszov Bourke (Stanley) by almost two lengths, with the Melissa Dennett-trained Prussian Dream (Ricky Blewitt) two lengths away in third place.
Danspur - who won at Coonamble on August 7 - and Epic Decision - back from a spell of almost a year - were Groth's only runners on the six-race non-TAB meeting, where first place was worth $3400.
The veteran trainer will find out on Monday if Danspur has qualified for the $50,000 NSW Picnic Champion Series final at Coonamble on October 10.
If Danspur has not yet qualified for the final, Groth will send the gelding - who has five wins from 42 starts, for more than $69,000 in prize money - to the Geurie meeting on September 18 to attempt to do that.
It is the first season Groth has contested the series.
Commenting on is showing on Saturday, he said: "It's sort of the result that you half expect, but you never know whether it's gonna happen or not; there are so many variables that could happen on the day."
He added: "I think I'd be lying to you if I said I expected them to win so well, but I did expect them to win."
