Locals donated a whopping 675 period and continence care products to Share the Dignity's drive collection boxes during March, more than anywhere else.
More than 1.6 million women across Australia are living below the poverty line and the donations will go a long way in helping end period poverty.
Woolworths Gunnedah store manager, Kevin Ispirto, and Share the Dignity founder and managing director, Rochelle Courtenay, thanked everyone who supported the cause.

Customers have also helped contribute more than $117,000 nationally during the March drive to support the installation and maintenance of the Dignity Vending Machines, as a result of Woolworths donating five cents from each sale of period and continence products throughout March.
Over the last four drives, more than 119,307 period and continence care products have now been donated in NSW, going directly to assisting women in need.
While the past year has been challenging, with Dignity Drive donations impacted by COVID-19 and more women experiencing period poverty than ever before, support has been positive and generous.
The next drive will be held in August across all Woolworths stores.
