Liverpool Plains Shire Council (LPSC) Mayor, Councillor Doug Hawkins OAM said there are numerous activities being held during the school holidays to keep their children busy and happy.
"There's something for all ages, art classes, a puppet show, a puppetry workshop, movies and the holidays will wrap up with a Youth Fun Evening at Werris Creek," he said.
On Tuesday 13 April, Holiday Art Classes will be held at the Royal Theatre Green Room across two age groups, from 12 midday ages 7-10 and from 2pm-Ages 11-18. Cost is $20pp and this includes art materials.

On Thursday 15 April, at 10am, the Royal Theatre presents A Little Bit of Blue, a live kids puppetry show. A Little Bit of Blue is an interactive environmental detective story, told with puppetry.
As well as unravelling a mystery, it involves learning about the unique habits of an extraordinary Australian animal, the Satin Bowerbird, and their fascination for the colour blue. It is a fun frolicking mix of Detective Noir, slapstick, with some interesting facts thrown in. Tickets for this show are $10pp. This will be followed at 11.45am by a shadow puppetry workshop costing $20pp.
The Royal Theatre is also screening a couple of movies aimed at a younger audience.
Raya and The Last Dragon [Rated PG] is on at 6pm, Friday 9 April and 1pm Sunday 11 April.
The Croods: A New Age [Rated PG] will screen Sunday 11 April at 4pm and Friday 16 April at 10am.

To wrap up the school holidays and to celebrate Youth Week 2021, Youth Week NSW, LPSC and Liverpool Plains Youth Council join forces to present a Youth Fun Evening between 3.30 and 7.30pm at David Taylor Park, Werris Creek.
This is a free event with food, providing fun, games and entertainment for all including a workshop for kids, mechanical bull rides and sumo suits followed by action packed whip cracking and fire stunt show by Walter Whip and The Flames.
