The event - which was delayed due to COVID-19 restrictions - that was designed to give an outlet to those farmers was a social night, something to distract them from the difficulties they were facing at the time.
However, following a year of record rain around much of the region, many will now be attending the event to celebrate pushing past the bad times.
It will be held at Mullaley Hall on Saturday, April 10 commencing at 4:30pm and is completely free of charge.
The evening will begin with a barbeque, before a screening of Australian comedy-drama film Rams starring Jurassic Park star Sam Neill starts at 6:30pm, and that will then be followed by sweets, tea and coffee.
Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Gunnedah and assistant governor of the Rotary cluster seven, Rod Browne, said it was set to be an incredibly enjoyable night.

"The drought has sort of broken so now it's a recovery event rather than a relief event," he stated.
"It's a night of celebration so we will be celebrating not only the recovery from the drought but also the slow opening up of social isolation."
If attendees do not want to watch the movie, the outside barbeque will continue to operate through the night given socialising is the event's main feature.
The free tickets can be claimed online and anybody who wants more information is encouraged to call Mr Browne on 0427 007 826 or contact the responsible rotary clubs.
