On Sunday, March 28 a run which is approximately 5km long will take place, with the proceeds going towards a range of activities and projects managed by the Rotary Club.
With the majority of fundraising efforts sidelined by COVID-19 restrictions last year, the organisation was keen to introduce some new initiatives and wants to get people out and socialising again.
"We just felt the community needed an event to get together and have a bit of fun so we've decided to host this smaller fun run to get people out and about," said organiser and Rotary Club member Lauren Robertson.

The run will start at the Longmuir Playing Field at Gunnedah Show Ground at 9am, and is open to all participants no matter how they would like to complete the circuit.
Booking is essential prior to the day, and people are encouraged to arrive before the event with staff setting up at 8am.
It costs just $8 to enter for those 5 to 17-years-old, and $15 for 18 or older.
The money will help the club continue to do things such as support the local Youth Insearch branch and homeless community, and sponsor local students who partake in the likes of public speaking competitions or leadership programs.
