Among the issues being considered is the approval of a number of development applications, upgrades to council facilities, grant applications and the Sister Cities and Friendly Relationships Working Group.
Recommencement of debt recovery actions and application of interest charges on overdue rates, charges and sundry debts will also be discussed after council placed a freeze on these actions in early 2020 at the on-set of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Development applications up for approval include the erection of a new warehouse and two carports at 125-147 Mathias Road and the construction of two outdoor dining areas adjacent to the Parkview Hotel and the Courthouse Hotel.
The proposed developments at the hotels would involve the construction of permanent physical barriers at the proposed outdoor dining areas as a direct response to social distancing recommendations provided by the state government as a result of COVID-19.

Councillors will also vote on potential upgrades to Gunnedah's Livvi's Place Playground to improve child safety, including the installation of three additional pool style gates with childproof latches.
Meanwhile, increased membership and representation for the Sister Cities Working Group will be a topic of discussion.
Council has been working towards the development of a sister city relationship with the Kingdom of Tonga, and Gunnedah citrus producer Robert Hoddle expressed an interest in participating in the working group.
Mr Hoddle has experience in providing seasonal work to Tongans and working relationships with sectors of the Tongan community.
The meeting will be held at 4.30pm today at the Gunnedah Council Chambers.
