Local women Diana Lampard and Veronica Filby have just announced their first event 'Your Creative Escape' which will be held at the Currabubula Pub and Café on March 13.
The event is designed to provide a fun and inclusive space for rural women to be creative, spend time together, make new friends and take a moment for themselves.
"We would both love to attend this type of event," Mrs Filby said.
"So we thought why don't we create one!"
The event is supported by the NSW Department of Primary Industries' Rural Resilience Program and the Currabubula Local Advisory Group and will see two creative workshops offered on the day.
The Little Flower School from Tamworth will be running a Flower Crown Workshop where participants will be creating a beautiful crown using a mixture of fresh blooms and foliage.

Local artist Jodie Herden will be running 'A Night with Vincent' art workshop where she will be guiding participants step by step through creating their own 'Starry Night' artwork.
The workshops will run at the same time with 20 women being able to participate in each workshop.
A delicious afternoon tea will be supplied by the Currabubula Pub and local musician Carly Robinson will be providing musical entertainment for the afternoon.
"Our aim with this event is to provide more opportunities for women in a range of areas," Mrs Filby said.
'Whether it's an opportunity to attend events and connect with each other or the opportunity to showcase your talents, skills and businesses."
Both Mrs Lampard and Mrs Filby hope this is just the start of Your Creative Escapes and encourages any local community groups in small communities to get in touch if they would like to have one of these events at their hall or local pub or club.
Tickets for Your Creative Escape at the Currabubula Pub and Café go on sale this Saturday February 13 at 9am.
