Whether your talent is singing, dancing, circus acts, magic, poetry or anything else that may pique people's interest, the Gunnedah Show Society (GSS) is your chance to display what you can do.
While similar events have taken place in the past, officials are this year providing a less stringent schedule and are hoping to lure in a steady stream of audience members through the doors.
It will take place in a marquee within a certain timeframe, and approved acts will be able to take the stage at any point within that period to show their talent, even if it only lasts a couple of minutes.
Much of the other entertainment at the show will be carried over from last year's event, which was cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Obviously with new events being added, the expectation is this year's show will be going ahead in mid-April, which vice-president and publicity officer George Truman was pleased to announce.
"At this stage we're planning on going ahead, unless the government says we can't," he said.
"So the schedules are being rejigged at the moment, mainly date changes and confirming sponsors and confirming the different sections in the schedule."
While not being able to go ahead last year was devastating for the Society, it did provide Gunnedah Shire Council with the opportunity to complete some upgrades to the showgrounds, which included works on the light towers, sound and arena.
Further information is being prepared, and those interested in joining the talent show are encouraged to contact the GSS secretary via phone (6742 1867) or email (admin@gunnedahshowsociety.com.au).
