Why not have a look at the eResources on the Gunnedah Shire Library webpage. To access, click here. These resources can be accessed anywhere, at any time. All you will need is your library card.
Not a member of the library yet? Just come in, fill out the simple application form, show some proof of address and you'll be able to access all the library's eResources.
The library's "Free Learning Experiences" information sheet lists many virtual tours, stories, games and activities to keep both young and old entertained online.
Check out the Storytime from Space website. This is the project of a non-profit educational organisation which sends books out to the International Space Station.
The astronauts living there record themselves reading the books and the videos are uploaded to the website.
Titles include 'Ada Lace Take Me To Your Leader' by Emily Calandrelli, 'Max Goes To Mars' by Jeffrey Bennett, and 'Moustronaut' by astronaut Mark Kelly.
The astronauts also conduct experiments to demonstrate science concepts from the Storytime from Space books.

The library is running their school holiday programme for January.
Toddler Time is for children birth to 8 years and starts at 10.30am. Crafty Creations is for children aged 8 to 13 years and starts at 3.30pm at a cost of $3.00 per child.
