Narrabri Shire Council mayor Ron Campbell said the primary objective was "to improve our understanding of flood behaviour and impacts to better inform ourselves on flood risk in the Boggabri area"
"I encourage members of the Boggabri community to review the draft flood study while on public exhibition and lodge a submission should they wish to," Mr Campbell said.
The study is currently on exhibition until Monday, February 1, and is available to view at the Boggabri Library, Narrabri Shire Council administration building and on the council's website.
