Operation Pariac was rolled out across the state, and locally, venues across Tamworth, Gunnedah, Narrabri and smaller towns and villages saw uniformed and undercover police conduct patrols.
Oxley Detective Acting Inspector Jason Darcy said while COVIDsafe measures were part of the checklist, public order and alcohol-related crime topped the list.
"Police have identified a number of issues that need to be followed up with further investigations," he said.

Across the Western Region, 25 people were arrested and 25 charges laid after 256 businesses were inspected on Friday and Saturday.
Police issued four COVID-related warnings, and 16 move-on directions, while six liquor and gaming infringments were handed out to venues.
Three people were also charged with possessing or supplying drugs, and 16 were charged with drink-driving offences after 613 random breath tests.
Operation Pariac is a high-visibility police operation targeting alcohol-related crime, anti-social behaviour, public order incidents, assaults, and COVIDsafe measures.
Operation Pariac Commander, Assistant Commissioner Max Mitchell, said the majority of venues were complying with the required COVID procedures and Public Health Orders.
"Licensing police will be following up with those venues who are not abiding by the Liquor and Gaming Act to ensure summer in the regions is safe and enjoyable for all," he said.
