New retailer Valley Fasteners have started running the weekly events out the front of their premises, in the old Riley's Furniture building next to McDonalds.
Locals have flocked to the first two events that have been held, with the latest supporting Gunnedah Early Childhood Intervention.

Valley Fasteners branch manager, Craig Kolstad, came up with the idea, and said it was a way to "give a little bit back to our local community and charitable organisations".
He said the biggest difference to the Bunnings sausage sizzles was that Valley Fasteners provided everything.
"We supply the food, sauce, bread, barbecue, and all that sort of thing," Mr Kolstad said.
"The community organisation comes along and just sells their sausage sambo onto the public and get to keep the money, 100 per cent of it."
Another major difference was that the snags were "real, quality sausages" from Mornington Butchery, not supermarket ones.
He said many local organisations had already got on board with the initiative, so much so that Saturdays are booked through to January already.
The sausage sizzles are run every Saturday from 8am-12pm outside the Valley Fasteners premises on Conadilly Street.
Sausage sandwiches are $2 each, and drinks are $2 each.
