Darcie Crane, Hallie Thomson and Chayse Smith will next month take to the stage at the Quay Centre in Sydney for the State Finals after placing in the top five in their respective divisions at the recent Tamworth Junior Zone championships - Crane in the under-7s, Thomson the under-10s and Smith the under-11s.
Against some tough competition with a high level of physie on display across all the ages, the 25-strong Gunnedah contingent that took to the floor performed strongly with another three members qualifying through to finals.

It has been a busy couple of weeks for the club's members.
Following on from the junior zones, last weekend the senior competitors headed to Coffs Harbour for their zone championships.
The standard of dance was extremely high but Samantha Hubbard (under-33s) and Stacie Crane (novice ladies) made it through to the final in their divisions, and Rebecca Streater (over-33s) the semi-finals.
Teachers Streater, Hubbard and Bianca Day are extremely impressed with how their members have coped in what has been a difficult 2020.
And a challenging one, having to adapt to different ways of teaching and learning.
Hubbard said initially when the COVID-restrictions came in they moved to online classes. When the restrictions did ease a bit they then moved to one of the local parks for classes.
The State Finals will take place on November 22.
