The panel will cover breeding efficiency from biological, economic and environmental perspectives, while also highlighting the genetic traits that are important for efficiency of the breeding cow and her progeny.
North West LLS officer Kate McCarthy said the webinars would allow farmers to the latest developments in genetics.
"From a broader perspective, we have spent a long time working on actively managing the drought and making sure we can help farmers manage what they have on farm at the moment," Ms McCarthy said.
"Now that the season has changed it is a really good time to start thinking about genetics and thinking about what farmers can put in place to improve their genetics.
"Basically, this webinar will focus on what's out there from an industry side of things and what developments have been made."
Ms McCarthy said the webinar offered farmers a greater chance to capitilisie on strong cattle prices.
"For producers it's a really good chance to get a look at what's happening in the world of genetics and how that can be implemented on farm," she said.
"We started the North West Beef Extension Network to provide producers with the latest innovative information regarding genetics, nutrition, production and things like that.
"This is our first webinar and we are aiming to continue providing resources to farmers as we go along through a variety of formats such as webinars, email newsletters and those sorts of things.
"We're hoping to take this opportunity to get some local producers to sign up at our website so we can continue to help them be proactive on farm."
