Liverpool Plains Shire Council (LPSC) has engaged Shannon Piggott to paint the CWA building, which also houses the local health service.
"Council successfully gained funding of $15,000 through the NSW Government's local drought stimulus package to undertake this project," LPSC mayor Doug Hawkins said.
"The project has been developed in consultation with and guidance from key stakeholders. This is one of a number of community infrastructure projects being undertaken in the shire's villages. The projects are designed to support social and community sustainability."

Premer resident, and member of the Lions Club and local advisory group, Jackie Whillock, said it was important that local ratepayer-owned infrastructure was well maintained.
"The building is vital for the provision of medical services and as a community meeting space. It is good to see this investment being made in our small community."
Cr Hawkins said council staff had also recently held discussions with the local community about refurbishment of the rotunda at the Lions Park recreation grounds precinct.
"Council has also successfully gained $30,000 through the same program for this project. It is envisioned that this project will be completed during this financial year," he said.
