The Gunnedah Show Society is supporting the Agricultural Show Council's 'No Show Scarecrow' campaign, throughout the month of October.
Residents and business owners are being asked to make their very own scarecrow to show off to "see our town alive with visual reminders of the vibrant show spirit with colourful, creative displays".

Show society president Rob Witts said it was to "keep the show in the forefront of people's minds".
He is inviting everyone to take part, including schools, local shops, residents in town and further afield, and community organisations.
He said the show society itself had a meeting to discuss what they were going to do for their display.
Locals can submit their scarecrows by emailing photos of their display to admin@gunnedahshowsociety.com.au and publish on social media, remembering to tag in both @ASCofNSW @gunnedahshowsociety and use the hashtags #noshowscarecrow #gunnedahnoshowscarecrow
