One week on from another housefire in town, and the cause is still undetermined.
The NVI spoke to Senior Constable Chris Guinery on Wednesday morning he said investigations into the Lawson Avenue blaze were ongoing.
"The crime scene was attended but there's been nothing," he said.
At about 2pm last Wednesday, firies were called to the small weatherboard property where they discovered the house completely alight.
Firefighter Andrew Johns said there was a lot of smoke as they arrived.
"We had crews in offensive mode from the start ... to get in there safely and we cut the power off and got to work to put the fire out but the house was extensively damaged," he said.
No-one was injured in the incident.
