Hope House will reopen once again to service locals in need, and will be run by Winanga-Li Aboriginal Child and Family Centre.
The facility, formerly run by the Salvation Army, closed in 2017 due to financial reasons and restructuring purposes.
Winanga-Li's Aboriginal fathers project coordinator Vince Winsor said Winanga-Li was hoping to make it a "friendly place ... for a lot of the kids that are running around the streets at the moment".
There's currently a bit of damage, but Mr Winsor said once it had been fixed up in the "next couple of weeks", it would be ready to go once again.

He said the organisation had "heaps envisioned" for Hope House, including a community garden.
"We'll be looking after the vulnerable families, so it will give [local youth] somewhere to pop-in and get a drink of water when they're roaming about," Mr Winsor said.
"It'll give the kids a safe haven at that end of town."
He said visitors would be able to sort out development orders and pay fines, and that one draw-card for local youth would be free WiFi.
"I think the WiFi will be a big thing for the kids around that area," he said.
"They have to sign up in the start so they can use the WiFi, so it lets their family and our family know, if something goes wrong, where the kids are."
The activities that happen in that cottage support the wellbeing of the community.
- Homes North chief executive officer Maree McKenzie
The building itself is managed by Homes North, and chief executive officer Maree McKenzie is excited that it will become a "very good social activation point for that part of Gunnedah".
"The activities that happen in that cottage support the wellbeing of the community," Ms McKenzie said.
"Housing is the foundation of people's wellbeing but for children and adults to flourish, other services are vital."
She said it was "good to see" Winanga-Li come in to keep the Hope House legacy going as there had "been a lot of volunteers put time into the cottage over the years".
Hope House originally opened in 2012 as a hub of community activity with programs for adults, youth and families.
Bedrooms in the home were converted into an office space and private interview rooms, with a wall removed to create a large community area.
Hope House is located at 38 Hopedale Avenue.
