Remember, if you have one of these little booklets to fill in, there is no right and wrong way.
Just decorate the pages as you wish with photos, clippings from newspapers or magazines, lists of favourite books, music, and movies, things that you did, thought, during the COVID-19 shutdown.
After going on display to the libraries in the North West region, the booklets will be returned to you to be a permanent little record of your life during this extraordinary time.
If anyone still wants a booklet to fill in, there are some booklets left, and a couple of weeks before they have to be handed in to start their tour.
Just come into the library or ring 6740 2190 to ask for one to be kept for you!
Plenty of books by Australian authors have been added to the shelves this week, including the latest in the set by Jacki French Lilies, Lies and Love.
It's the fourth title in the Miss Lily series as "Jacki French explores one of the most controversial events in history that saw the unthinkable happen when a king chose love over duty".
In a different vein is Katherine Scholes' The Beautiful Mother is a story of love and loss set in Tanzania and Tasmania.
Karen Brooks is another Australia author, living in Hobart, who has written The Darkest Shore.
This is a novel set in Scotland, where women "battle for survival and freedom".
The story is based on true events.
Richard Anderson's Small Mercies set in Australia during the drought.
The Appliance of Pressure by Rachael Mead, is a book about paramedics. It's a great read!
Night Lessons in Little Jerusalem by Rick Held is a deeply personal WWII novel inspired by an extraordinary true story.
All these books are ready to be borrowed.
See you soon at the library!
