Yearlings made up the bulk of the offering with small numbers in each of the other categories.
Very few of the regular buyers were in attendance, those here competed strongly for the most part.
Market trends varied with quality and the low numbers impacting price change. Medium weight yearling steers sold to a slightly dearer trend.
The few heavy weight feeder steers saw a slightly cheaper trend, down 7c/kg and more in places where breed and quality were factors.
Trends were similar for the yearling heifers to restock and feed.
The small number to the trade were dearer.
Insufficient numbers to quote the heavy grown steers and heifers. 12 cows penned, too few for a market trend quote, the best of them selling at prices similar to the previous sale.
Heavy bulls sold to dearer trends with strong competition.
