The event has been cancelled numerous times, but event organiser Anna Demasi is keeping all of her fingers and toes crossed that it can finally be held and people can enjoy the day.
Furry friends are also welcome to attend if they are on a lead.
"I'm pretty confident that, yes, it will be a little bit on the cold side, but we are coming at the end of August so people will want to come out and enjoy the day," Ms Demasi said.
"It's 11am-5pm so it's hitting those warmer times; we're not doing it 'till 8pm at night."
Ms Demasi said there would be COVID-19 distancing practices in place at the event, as well as contract tracing sign-ins.
"COVID is a way of life at the moment but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy ourselves," she said.
"When you think about the market, there's a lot less contact you have with people than you would at the supermarket or McDonald's.
"Do the right thing, and we'll all have a good time."
Everyone must sign-in upon entry with their full name and mobile number, and visitors are asked to bring their own pen. Visitors can bring their own picnic blanket and chair.
Those who are feeling sick are asked to please stay home. Hand sanitiser will also be provided at the event.
There is a $2 entry fee for visitors, with some of the proceeds to be donated to Rural Aid.
- Local food businesses who may want to get involved on the day can contact Anna Demasi via anna@foodiesnightmarkets.com or through the Foodies Delight Gunnedah Facebook event.
