The hard-working volunteers who delivered "sunshine" to farmers during the drought announced the decision on social media, saying regular rain meant they were no longer needed.

"We have made the difficult decision to not run Ladies of the Land again this year. We started this project to support our fellow farmers through the drought and we did that to the best of our ability," the online post read.
"We are going to keep the Ladies of the Land NSW Facebook page open because we don't know what the future will bring and we might need each other again."
The initiative was launched by Cumnock farmer Elzette Connan in late 2019 and since then, more than 35,000 pamper boxes have been delivered to 146 areas in NSW.
In the post, Ladies of the Land wrote that more than 90 per cent of NSW was now out of drought, according to the latest drought map (EDIS DPI).
"It's green, the dams are full, and we are smiling again. Us farmers have been busy with recovery and focusing on damage control, getting back into things and living life as normally as possible again," they wrote.
"There's still a way to go, but thanks to you all and the love and inspiration you shared, we feel like we can do this. Your generosity and love is what we remember now and always will. But for now, we can only say the biggest thank you ever and we will remember this forever.
" 'We' are the 'struggling farmers', the 'box packers', the 'box collectors', the 'box distributors', the 'box donators' and the 'box receivers'. This project was for all of us and that is how we will remember it."
