The event was cancelled twice in November 2019, the first after one of the stallholder's trucks was involved in a road accident, and the second due to wet weather.
Event manager Anna Demasi said she was currently in talks with Gunnedah Shire Council to discuss the use of the showground for the event.

She said she hoped it might go ahead at the end of August, if COVID-19 restrictions stayed as they were.
"We're hoping that if everything still stays how it is and that we don't close with COVID-19 ... that we can get there," she said.
"So fingers crossed."
Vendors are set to offer all kinds of dishes, including waffles, ice cream, churros, Vietnamese cuisine, Turkish gozleme, Mexican cuisine and more.
