She proved this by taking out Apprentice of the Year for the second year in a row as part of the New England Regional Training Awards.
The Ghoolendaadi woman finished her four-year apprenticeship at the beginning of this year, and gained employment at Whitehaven Coal's Narrabri site.

In a male-dominated industry, Georgia is the only full-time woman in the underground area she works in as an electrical contractor.
She said being the only female had its "ups and downs", but her coworkers considered her as "one of the boys".
"I get along with everyone; it's pretty good," she said.
"It's more the workmanship and the community you have and the friendships you have under there because it's a really hard environment to work in and it's dangerous, so you make really good friends under there."
Georgia said her new position was her "end goal" after her apprenticeship, and was chuffed when she was offered numerous choices.
"I tried a lot of different areas of mining and construction and I found that one I really loved and I was lucky enough to get that job," she told the NVI.
"I did most of my apprenticeship in the open cuts, but I really enjoy the hard work that comes with the underground."
