Work on the new facility started in early 2019 and was completed this month. The main leasee is VIVA-Energy (Shell) and the centre will also include a 24/7 drive-through burger outlet and Fengo's Burrito Bar.
The build was overseen by business and technology consulting practice Terra Ferma and spokesperson Paul Hoare said the opening had been delayed by COVID-19. It was originally slated to open in September last year.
About 30 full-time and part-time employees will be employed at the centre and Mr Hoare said a lot of the workforce would come from Gunnedah.
The choice of site was strategic because of the ongoing build of Gunnedah's second road-over-rail bridge.
Mr Hoare said Shell installed more capacity pumps than originally planned because the company anticipates high traffic.
The 8,702 square-metre site is also for sale.
