There are numerous services that locals can contact via phone if they need someone to speak to.

Gunnedah Family Support - 6742 1515
Gunnedah Family Support (GFS) offers assistance with family issues, homelessness, children's services, and domestic and family violence.
GFS will be delivering most services over the phone or via Skype or Facetime.
Staff will be providing check-in services over the phone and online support services, but appropriate safe arrangements will be made for clients needing to deliver and sign documents.
Tamworth Family Support Service (TFSS) Reconnect - 0448 420 825
The Reconnect program uses community-based early intervention services to assist young people aged 12-18 years who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, and their families.
Reconnect assists young people stabilise their living situation and improve their level of engagement with family, work, education, training and their local community.
Reconnect breaks the cycle of homelessness by providing counselling, group work, mediation and practical support to the whole family. Reconnect providers also 'buy in' services to target individual needs of clients, such as specialised mental health services.

Winanga-Li not only provides childcare services, the organisation also helps with family support, health services and initiatives, ability links, and early intervention support.
Gunida Gunyah Aboriginal Corporation's Warranggal Dhiyan program - 6742 7038
Warranggal Dhiyan is an intensive case management and support package program for individuals and family units who have come into contact with criminal justice system.
The program has been developed to support individuals and families who find themselves in regular contact with the police and/or are going through the court system and may be at risk of becoming incarcerated. The program also supports individuals who have been released from incarceration that would like support to break the cycle.
