Breeza Station had between 33mm and 45mm and Werris Creek hit high figures of 39mm.
In Curlewis, 18mm fell and its neighbour Gunnedah received 25mm, as did Narrabri.
Mullaley had more than 14mm and Tambar Springs had 22, one less mm than Boggabri.
There is a 50 per cent chance of showers in Gunnedah on Wednesday afternoon and a possible thunderstor. On Thursday, there is a 70 per cent chance of 6-15mm of rain.
