Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Lieutenant Marika Wallis said food would now be distributed on the outside of the Tempest Street building on the usual Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.30am.
The building will be open but residents are asked to remain outside where possible and call the landline on 6742 0540 if needed.

Salvos' Doorways and Moneycare programs are no longer face-to-face and all contact needs to be made over the phone or online.
Food vouchers can still be collected at the Tempest Street building after an assessment is carried out over the phone on 1300 371 288.
The family store is now closed and no donations are being accepted at this time.
The annual Red Shield Appeal coming up in May will be a digital-only campaign and no door-knocking will be carried out on the 23rd and 24th.
All Easter messages will be pre-recorded and placed online on the Gunnedah Salvation Army's Facebook page. The annual dawn service at Porcupine will not go ahead.
