With more and more residents working from home as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, a local physiotherapist has shared some advice to ensure everyone is looking after themselves.

Matthew Rouse of Namoi Physiotherapy says the most important thing while working from home is to continue moving around.
"Make sure if you are going to be sitting at an office a lot you walk around and change positions regularly. Our bodies are meant to move," Mr Rouse said.
"The more the better. What I believe is people should do a little stretch every hour and every two hours do a bit of a walk around."

The physio said when it came to the actual set-up, people should ensure their computer is at eye-level.
"You'll be less likely to have your neck in the wrong position. We treat people working in offices all the time with neck problems in particular," he said.
"Make sure your keyboard is just below elbow height when sitting."
The new government guidelines have caused many businesses to close, too, and Namoi Physiotherapy is one of them.
Mr Rouse said because the physio practice was "very hands on", it could be considered one of the "high-risk occupations", and so he had decided to temporarily close the doors to keep clients safe.
"We could still continue to work but I've taken it from my own standpoint that hands on stuff at the moment isn't ideal," he said.
"It's going to be a very difficult time because we're not going to be earning any income."
He said he was hoping he might be able to flag high-risk clients with local GPs and the Gunnedah Hospital so "they're still just seen".
He will also be working out a way to treat clients "remotely" and not face-to-face, either.
