The council has also formed a specialised continuity management team to monitor the changing situation and meet the challenges presented by the coronavirus as best it can.
The team is reviewing advice daily from NSW Health and the Australian Government Department of Health to ensure the council is prepared and aims to continue to meet the need for essential services to the community throughout the pandemic.
The council strongly urges people to contact them by phone on 6740 2100 or email council@infogunnedah.com.au before coming to the council offices in person. Many enquiries can be resolved over the phone and payments can also be made by phone and online using BPAY.
This will help us all in our efforts to stop the spread of coronavirus, the council said.
