Black 'N' Blue Boxing was gearing up to host its annual fight night on April 18, but due to federal government recommendations against large crowd gatherings.
The club took to social media announce its decision and state they were seeking a new date later in the year for the event.

"It is with a heavy heart that we will be postponing our annual Gunnedah fight night," the post read.
"This event is only postponed not cancelled and we hope to be holding the night in the future.
"We can't thank all our sponsors and members enough for their continued support, but with advice from Health organisations and local medical professionals, it is safest if we postpone the event to a later date."
The fight night was set to offer spectators a chance to see Wade Ryan in action, as well as the professional debut of Enja Prest.
"If you have purchased Team Ryan or Team Enja shirts they are still on their way and available for purchase in prep for the announcement of the new date for the fight night," the post read.
The pandemic has also prompted the club to close it's door until further notice.
"Unfortunately we are also announcing that the gym will be closed to public until further notice," the post read.
"This will also apply to all key holders, fighters and members.
"Please keep in contact and follow this page and our Instagram page to when the gym will be re opening.
"Hopefully after the Easter school holidays we can resume as per normal."
