Cafes and businesses remain open in the shire but as the situation evolves, it's anybody's guess as to what will happen to the CBD.
"We encourage locals to stay local with their shopping where possible and to be mindful of just taking the precautions as suggested by our government in keeping distance and cleaning hands etc," the chamber said.
"We appreciate the supply chain workers are all doing their best, with truckdrivers and warehouse and deliveries etc working very hard to keep our towns stocked."

The chamber has welcomed the NSW government's announcement of support package to combat the impact of the pandemic. A $17 billion announcement was made by the federal government on Thursday.
Payroll tax payments for businesses with a payroll of under $10 million will be deferred for three months and the payroll tax threshold to $1 million has been extended from July 1.
"This is a positive response with regard to the deferral of payroll tax payments for three months and the extension of the payroll tax threshold from July. This will assist with cashflow in these continued trying times," the chamber said.
The chamber said it was "disappointing" that numerous events "that are so important to our small business-focused community" are being cancelled or postponed but "we understand and support the decisions that need to be made for the greater good of our community".
"We note, however, there is still a lot of pressure on businesses to retain their skilled staff and there is no assistance as yet to assist in that regard, however, we understand this is a difficult situation to try to resolve," the chamber said.
"It is welcome that the state government supports local procurement and the intention to provide further infrastructure spending will be of great assistance to local suppliers and contractors.
"We have our membership special offer going at the moment and would be happy to assist members or potential members."
