About 100 primary school students from across the region enjoyed a taste of high school life at Quirindi High School (QHS) on Thursday.

The excited cohort were greeted by 10 Dhinawan science students, deputy principal Miss Loughrey and principal Mr Worley before they headed off to classes.
The taster day event consisted of bespoke lessons and activities designed by QHS teachers specifically for English, drama, woodwork, music and agriculture.

QHS Clontarf Academy provided the barbecue lunch, and teachers and support staff were thanked by the participating primary schools for a terrific day.
