After a year's worth of fundraising, the small school has a bus to ease transport troubles to attend events in Carroll, Gunnedah and surrounds.
School principal Rebecca Dowe said it felt "amazing and a bit surreal" that the dream had come to fruition.
"We started fundraising with the celebration of our 150 years and our committee raised about $54,000 just in the year so they did an amazing job," Mrs Dowe said.
"We'll be able to take the kids in for the [Gunnedah] Eisteddfod, we can take short trips around the community of Carroll, go to Aboriginal cultural trips, day trips, basically anything that we need to be able to get to.
"This will just make it that much easier."

The school sesquicentenary committee held events throughout 2019 like the Autumn Fair, Sequin Ball, and a historic 150-year celebration day to help raise funds for the vehicle.
UNCGA's Scott McCalman said the association was "really proud to be on board".
"It was unanimous among the committee that we'd try and come up with some funding through all the grower families because we saw it as such an important benefit to the little rural communities but also to the wider community," Mr McCalman said.
"It's just fantastic to come here and see the fruits of everyone's labour and all the sponsors, it's just wonderful."
School teacher Jamie Brown has his bus licence so he will be the main driver for now, but Mrs Dowe said herself and a few other teachers and P&C members would look at getting their licences, too.
"I think Sally [Harris] and I will try and get our bus licence as well which could be funny," she said.
"It makes my Prado look tiny."
