EDUCATION comes first at Boggabri Public School where students gain a lot from their small school. Students from Kindergarten to Year 6 engage in their fundamental learning enriched with weekly STEM classes where they use robotics and technology. On Wednesday's, the school has Sam from 'Fun Fitness 4 Littlies' providing key sporting skills and techniques and the students thoroughly enjoy and look forward to these lessons each week.

The stage three students are currently participating in a Shine and Strength program as a personal development focusing on their strengths and becoming confident in who they are. The school also runs a 'Smart Start' school readiness program on Monday and Thursday for children who intend to start school the following year.

At BPS, the students participate in a lot of extra circular activities throughout the year to enrich their learning. In Term 1 students have the opportunity to attend Sporting trials for various sports, Easter hat decorating and parade, mother's day activities.

The school also enjoys the support from the wider community with the local IGA donating bread for breakfast club and the Boggabri Lion's Club and Rotary Clubs who donate money for excursions, among others. The P&C is fantastic, holding multiple fundraisers throughout the year to purchase equipment and fund extracurricular events for the students to attend as well as volunteer their time.
