The Gunnedah Chamber of Commerce event is a great opportunity for locals to speak to NSW government minister and Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson, chamber president Juliana McArthur said.
"While we've got the advantage of our MP being minister, we should make the most of it," she said.

Mr Anderson said it would be his first official opportunity to talk in-depth about his new role and how it can benefit regional NSW.
"The title of the portfolio is pretty broad, so this is a fantastic opportunity for me to be able to talk about some of the less known areas of the job that relate to the local community," he said.
"Already through my portfolio I've been able to make changes to help drought and bushfire-affected communities, as well as increase quad bike safety grants, just to name a couple of small achievements."
Mr Anderson is responsible for fair trading, SafeWork and the better regulation Division, racing, the NSW Building Commissioner, long service corporation, rental bond board, the Subsidence Advisory Service and the Professional Standards Authority.
This is the first time the electorate has had a member of the NSW lower house in cabinet since Bill Chaffey in 1968.
Mr Anderson said the region has never had better representation as Gunnedah woman Sarah Mitchell is also in Cabinet as Minister for Education.
"For the first time in history Gunnedah has two seats at the NSW Cabinet table and I'm excited to be able to talk about what we can achieve," Mr Anderson said.
