Carter Cameron, Stefanie Woods, Lucy Ellis, Bayley Williams and Bella Gallagher were awarded the honour this week at St Mary's College in recognition of their achievements in 2019.
Lucy and Bella excelled in Community and Family Studies (CAFS), Bayley got top marks in visual arts, Stefanie aced legal studies and Carter achieved in music. Stefanie received an ATAR of 89.15 and was named school dux.
The Mercy Medallion was introduced about five years ago and is symbolic of the school because it bears the mercy cross.
"We congratulate our high achievers and also celebrate the achievements of all of our 2019 year 12 students who performed to their best in the Higher School Certificate," school principal Max Quirk said.
"They are now leaving to go to university or having a gap year, others have taken up apprenticeships and traineeships, while others are finding employment in our local area.
"We wish them well in their future careers."
