NARRABRI'S water supply is now safe to drink after flooding sullied the supply on the weekend.
The council lifted its boil-water notice on Thursday afternoon after health authorities gave the green light.
The boil-water alert was issued on Sunday after the Killarney Street bore that was breached by Doctors Creek floodwater.
The flooding caused problems with water treatment, making drinking water in Narrabri potentially unsafe.
Narrabri Shire Council has resolved the issue and water testing results over the past five days have indicated the treatment process was under control and the water was now safe to drink.
