Werris Creek was once again pummeled by rain, receiving a total of 88mm over the weekend. This brings the town's yearly total up to 307mm already, compared to just 251mm for the whole of 2019.
As of Monday morning, numerous roads were also closed within the Liverpool Plains Shire, including the Gap Road, Werris Creeks' Henry Street, and the back Werris Creek Road.
Motorists also saw flooding at Watermark causeway on Monday morning, as well as the causeway between Curlewis and Nea.
Deann McCumstie captured footage of the Namoi River flowing right past her feet, saying it was "amazing to watch".
Gunnedah received about 40mm, Curlewis received 60mm, and Breeza has seen more than 80mm since Thursday.
In the past 24-hours alone, 23mm fell at Quirindi, 10mm at Tambar Springs, 14mm at Boggabri and 14mm at Gunnedah airport.
Keepit Dam's level is also higher after the rainfall, with WaterNSW reporting 3 per cent on Sunday. This is a huge jump from the 1.7 per cent recorded last Wednesday, February 5.
Narrabri saw flash flooding, with the local Fire and Rescue team called to help rescue numerous locals trapped in rising flood water.
Crews also had to flush the town's water supply out after flood water contaminated it.
The Narrabri train station was a sight to see on the weekend, too, with flood water lapping almost at the top of the platform.
Possible storms are also forecast by the BoM for Gunnedah until Thursday, with more showers forecast everyday until Friday.
