The influx of kids are all in the one collaborative classroom and are learning the ropes as they settle into term one.
NVI has also met 29 kindies at Gunnedah Public School on Friday.
There are 65 kindies at Gunnedah South Public School, 26 at Carinya Christian School, five at Mullaley Public School, 13 at Curlewis Public School and six at Carroll Public School.
More than 200 year 7 students started at Gunnedah High School, St Mary's College and Carinya this year.
