Gunnedah Shire Council recorded 1576 people through the pool gates from opening time to closing time.
Of this figure, 482 were adults and 1094 were children.
There was plenty on offer at the pool, too.

There was a never-ending line up to the diving board, where patrons of all ages showed off their flips and jumps into the 50m pool below.
Gunnedah had plenty of other activities on offer on Sunday, including eating competitions, Aussiefest, the annual citizenship ceremony, and a combined church ceremony.
