The water has receded in Wallabadah, and crews have cleared the debris that were stuck on the New England Highway.
The water has also gone down at Appleby Lane and Goddard Lane in Tamworth, and there are no delays for motorists.
The Gap Road was closed overnight on Saturday because of the water levels and the debris still stuck on the roadway.
It remains closed on Sunday morning.
Liverpool Plains Shire Council said it is working to clear the backlog of repairs after Friday night's torrential downpour.
UPDATE: 8.30PM SATURDAY
More roads have been closed in and around Werris Creek and Wallabadah after another storm hit the region.
The New England Highway at Wallabadah has been hit by flash flooding. Traffic is affected in both directions at the intersection of Newtown Street.
The RMS said debris including tree branches are over the road and ther eis no forecast time when it will reopen.
There is water over the Werris Creek Road between Werris Creek and Currububula.
Just before 8pm, police shut the road because of safety concerns. Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
Late on Saturday, preliminary falls of more than 40mm were reported in Quirindi, and near Werris Creek, on top of the 120mm recorded on Friday night.
Traffic is also affected at Willow Tree. The New England Highway has water across the road between Fairburn and Cadell Streets.
Oxley police said the Oxley Highway at Appleby Lane is also affected by water on the road.

Roads in Werris Creek have been closed after a massive storm tore through the town on Friday evening.
The Gap Road remains closed to non-residential traffic but the Werris Creek Road is now clear of water.
The back Werris Creek Road is closed between Russell Street and Anzac Parade because one-third of the gravel road has washed away and collapsed.
On Silo Road, off the Gap Road, fences have been flattened and tree trunks and branches have damaged the guard rails on the bridge.
Telstra crews were on site on Silo Road this morning.
Friday night
Werris Creek has almost been cut off by flash flooding after a massive storm.
More than 120mm of rain has already fallen today and has caused the local creek - Werries Creek - to overrun its banks and flood the Gap Road, cutting off access.
The railway crossing on Single Street on the approach to the town from Quirindi via Werris Creek Road has also flooded and vehicles have been backed up on both sides.
Two police cars came on scene and cars followed them through the flood water. Other emergency service vehicles have also been on the scene and the town has lost power twice.
