Gunnedah Shire Council's manager of economic development Charlotte Hoddle said since the program's inception, the council had provided more than $150,000 in funding to local businesses.
"Many businesses in the shire have been having a tough time due to the drought. This is a good opportunity to apply for funding if you're looking to build resilience and capacity in your business," Ms Hoddle said.
"If you're a local business owner and have ideas about how you'd like to strengthen your business, please give our economic development team a call to discuss. We can run you through the application process and answer any questions you may have."
Round three applications close on February 28, and guidelines and application forms are available at www.gunnedah.nsw.gov.au
