The club took over a squad of 24 for what was the first carnival for the New England and North West area for the year, and coach John Hickey was very happy with how they performed.
"We had some very good results," Hickey said.
"The juniors really led the way for Gunnedah. They did a terrific job."
He made particular mention of Josh Spinks (7), Jacob Smith (9), Alexis Whitton (8) and Danika Jones (10).
"Those kids were outstanding and are making it exciting for the other swimmers in the club," he said.
Whitton particularly was impressive winning every event in her age group.
Spinks meanwhile won silver in his 8&U 50m breaststroke.
There were also some really good performances from the club's more experienced swimmers.
Hickey was especially impressed with Andre Steele.
"His 50m freestyle was fantastic," he said.
"He raced really well."
He was just touched out for the gold but swam well in a strong field.
Continuing in his good form Steele also picked up silver in his 50m and 100m butterfly, 200m individual medley and 50m backststroke and bronze in the 100m freestyle.
Hickey was also "really happy" for Jedd Rennick.

"He's a 13-year old boy and he broke 30 seconds for 50m in a qualifying meet at a carnival for the first time," he said.
"He went 29.38 (seconds) for the 50m freestyle which was really really good."
It was one of a number of pb's he swam throughout the day, including a six second pb in his 200m freestyle, on his way to silver in the 100m freestyle and bronze in the 50m and 100m butterfly.
"That was an outstanding race and I really enjoyed cheering him on in that," Hickey said.
He noted that Brodie Coombes also did a 5.63 second pb in his 100m breaststroke.
Zach Akinyemi also picked up silver in the 9-10 years breaststroke, Amelia Lush silver in her 50m and 100m butterfly, and 100m freestyle, Tom Sheedy a hard-fought silver in the 13-14 years 100m breaststroke, and Savannah Lyons, Scout Newberry and Maddie Coombes bronze medals.
Angus Hobson, Lachlan Davey, Tahlia Smith, Daisy and Holly Sheedy, Olivia Lyons, Georgia Lyons, Tahnee Steele and Katie Spinks also produced some great performances.
