Shooters, Fishers and Farmers spokesman Jeff Bacon is worried the $9 million sealing promised by the NSW government at the last election won't start for road users any time soon, saying it's a "cop-out".
"You see a lot of projects that aren't delivered until right before the next state election and that's not fair to the residents and constituents, they shouldn't have to cop that, it's just wrong," Mr Bacon said.

"It puts lives at risk and that's what it comes down to. You talk to anyone who uses that road; they hate using it but they're forced to do it.
"You've only got to look at that Facebook group [Fix our Rangari Road] to see how many cars have been destroyed and how many vehicles roll over."
Mr Anderson recently told the Namoi Valley Independent "suitable funding pathways" were being considered, but Mr Bacon said "there should be no delay".
"I recognise that there are certain procedures that have got to take place with the funding or places for the funding to come from, but it was announced in the budget as a line item: the money should be there," he said.
Tamworth Regional Council infrastructure manager Murray Russell said they hadn't had "any indication of that money being made available" so in the meantime the council was continuing with its usual maintenance of their section of the road.
"If it's rough we'll put a maintenance grader out there to fix it, if we get customer requests we will respond to the road and inspect it and see if it's how it was described," Mr Russell said.
"Staff do routine inspections on the road and if it needs doing they'll just attend to it."
He said the council also does gravel resheeting "around every 10 years".
