If you haven't already done so, grab an entry form for the Australiana scavenger trail and see if you can spot the 30 animals, birds, plants, fish and flowers that are hidden amongst the shelving.
It's great fun and will take you on a exploration of the library and its collection and all completed entries go into a draw for prizes.
Of course, school holiday programs are also taking place now.
For younger children to seven years, the program runs from 10.30am to 11am, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and includes storytelling and a handicraft. This session is free, and you don't have to book, so just come along and enjoy yourself.
Older children can come to the library in the afternoons on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 3.30pm and take part in Crafty Creations.
The theme for this week is flowers and fish, and there are some interesting things for the children to make.
Bookings are essential for this program, so call the library on 6740 2190 to secure a place for your child. There's also a fee of $3 to cover the cost of materials.
See you at the library!
